Cookie Notice

Do we need a cookie wall?

This is a United States ministry site. We do not run advertising cookies or a third-party analytics tag. U.S. law does not require a pop-up that blocks the page until you “accept all.” We still disclose what is used, because forms, video, and giving load tools that can store small files on your device.

Strictly necessary

• Staff sign-in. If you log in to the ministry desk, Better Auth sets a first-party session cookie so you stay signed in. Visitors who never open /login do not get that cookie.
• Form protection. Cloudflare Turnstile runs on public forms (contact, prayer, share, invite, meetings, shop). Cloudflare may set a cookie or similar token so the check can tell a person from a bot. Without it, spam would reach the ministry inbox.
• This notice. When you choose “I understand,” we store a flag in localStorage named pfc-cookie-notice so the bar does not return every page load.

Third-party tools you choose to use

• YouTube. Video testimonies embed from youtube-nocookie.com. Playing a video can still allow Google/YouTube to set cookies on their domain. Their privacy policy applies.
• Zeffy. The Give page loads Zeffy’s donation embed. Completing a gift is handled by Zeffy, which may use cookies for the checkout. Zeffy privacy policy.
• Fonts. Headlines load from Google Fonts. That request can send your IP address to Google. It is not a first-party cookie of ours.

Off-site links (Amazon, Printify, Instagram, Kern’s, and similar) are ordinary links. We do not set cookies for those shops; they may set their own after you leave.

What we do not use

We do not place Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or cross-site tracking cookies for marketing. We do not sell browsing data.

How to control cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may stop staff login and can make Turnstile or a donation form fail. You can also use YouTube on youtube.com instead of playing an embed.
